Kids are special at Sunset Hills and we want them to know how big God is and how much He loves them. As they grow, we want to help them know Jesus more. To this goal, we offer a range of activities for kids. Sunset kids on Sunday mornings, Life Groups, Re-Charge Wednesdays, summer camps, egg hunts, and much more are ways your kids can know and grow in Christ!

Children's Activities

• Nursery-each little friend 2 or younger is read to, prayed over, taken care of, and sung to!
• Sunset Kids - After Sunday morning worship music, ages 3 to 5th grade are dismissed for their groups.
• Life Group - Have adventures with peers as we see the Bible pointing to Jesus. Sunday morning at 9am.
• Re-Charge! - Bible Devotions + Friends + Games + Food: a great recipe for mid-week power.
• Nursery-5th grade. Wednesdays at 6pm

Our Student Ministry is a great place for students grades 6-12 to plug in! Fun, fellowship, service projects, discipleship programs, and everything else that fulfills the Church's purpose is why we come together. Our students are a vital part of Sunset Hills Baptist.

Sunday morning Life Groups are designed for students to develop closer relationships with Christ and each other while growing deeper in the knowledge and understanding of God's Word. Come early and grab a snack!

Wednesday Night we continue that walk with food, devotionals, some outdoor or indoor fun, and prayer.

What's a Life Group? It's Bible study in a group setting that meets each Sunday morning at 9AM. No lectures, just a group of adults gathered together to discuss the Bible and how it connects to our lives. The studies are designed so that guests can participate at any time. We are sure that we have a space for you, come join us and study God's word with others that relate to you.

The mission of the Sunset Hills Women's Ministry is to equip and encourage women to seek God in their daily lives, grow spiritually through Bible study, and edify each other as sisters in Christ through fellowship and service.

We plan various activies and outings for the women and would love to have new members. It is a great time to fellowship and get to know new friends.

The Sunset Hills Men's Ministry exists to provide an opportunity for men to help each other in their daily lives and their walk with God. The Men's Ministry has a monthly breakfast fellowship on the second Saturday of every month between August and May as well as other events planned throughout the year.

They also plan various activities throughout the year such as cornhole tournaments, men's retreats, family outings and much more.

Friday Friends is a group of women who meet on the last Friday of each month. The group's mission is to support and encourage the needs of the church. Friday Friends visits shut-ins, provides meals for people as needed, creates goodie bags to give away on occasions, and always supports the church in prayer.

Our book ministry just off the foyer is designed to equip you with resources from everything from kids to Bible studies to fiction!
